Latest News and Events
Following the outcome of the UK’s referendum on membership of the European Union, the BIA has worked closely with members and stakeholders to identify the threats and opportunities for biotech post-Brexit and to represent the sector. The BIA has held a number of Brexit related events and provides comments to the media on Brexit.
Our most popular event is our ongoing Brexit webinars where Steve Bates and Laura Collister, our Brexit lead, provide monthly updates to UK and International audiences answering “What does Brexit mean for Biotechnology in the UK and beyond.” The webinars examine Government policy, progress of working groups, and how these potentially affect companies in life sciences.
Presentations from previous webinars are available to members. If you aren't a member of the BIA please email Michael McGivern and find out how your company can benefit from being a member of the BIA.
ABPI/BIA Brexit Lead Network is a an opportunity for those leading on Brexit activity within their companies to discuss issues relating to Brexit with staff from both the BIA and the ABPI.
